How many customers would a good book (e.g. Pinnacle) have?
What would be the average balances?
How much action do they take in?

I saw in another thread that Royal has "1000's" of customers. Is that normal for some of the well-known books?

I bet some books have hundres of thousands of customers!

That might be a little high, but I could be wrong.

Sportingbet Plc states in its press releases that it has 1 million customers .... Betfair claims over 300,000 (I think) ....

depends if you mean, how many people are registered with an account vs. how many actual regular bettors

It`s got to be high no matter what...Specially for books that have been there for more that 6 years.

Active or funded accounts.

I wonder what the average balance is, too. I know different books cater to different types, so that will come into play.
